We at Ahava Theatre Company stand in solidarity with the Black Jewish Community and the Black community at large— including disabled, queer, and/or transgender BIPOC.

Our mission is to spark conversation, break barriers, challenge the status quo, and defy stereotypes. It is impossible to do this without standing up to injustice and white supremacy.

We commit to:

  • Deep Listening

  • Learning and Unlearning

  • Holding ourselves accountable

  • Holding others accountable

  • Moving beyond allyship and into action

As Jews, we have an obligation to Tikkun Olam: Repair the World.

In many Jewish communities all over the world Tikkun Olam has become synonymous with social action and social justice. We believe in an equitable system and justice for all.
